Finding the love of your life is one of the most beautiful things that could ever happen to anyone. I've experienced it and so many others have as well. In today's blog however, we are talking about a truly wonderful couple who celebrated their love this past September. I have I ever said how much I love September weddings? It's probably one of my favorite months for weddings. It's not too hot or too cold. Granted, this was a Labor Day weekend wedding so, it was still pretty warm. Nonetheless, the day turned out beautifully.
The bride chose a lovely wedding color palette. It was composed of ivory, blush, mauve and hints of plumb along with greenery to accent. Combining these colors together can be tricky but if you have the right balance, the whole design can turn out amazingly. Her hair and makeup were done by Priscilla M Beauty.
Let's start with the flowers. Our clients typically give me the liberty to choose the flowers as long as they match their color palette (which by the way, shout out to all my clients for always trusting my judgement!). I chose to use Cappuccino roses, purple Ranunculus, Distant Drums and Princess Miyuki Garden Roses to name a few. In terms of greenery, Eucalyptus and Wild Texas Smilax were the name of the game.
This beautiful wedding was meticulously and beautifully executed and planned by Nouvelle Weddings. The venue was an old manor house called Rose Hill Manor in Leesburg, VA and it gave one of the most beautiful settings for a large wedding. This day was wonderfully captured by Sarah Shank Photo and video-graphed by Wedding Bug Studios. Please enjoy.
