Anniversary Dinner at La Vie DC
There are some moments in life that are simply treasured. One of those moments is celebrating 10 years of marriage. That was the case for one of our very dear friends Jazmin of Anyvent Event Planning. She and I met working a wedding together just about 10 years ago, when our businesses where considered "baby" wedding industry businesses. We survived COVID and somehow came out on the other side building an even stronger bond. Over the years Jazmin has built an incredible wedding planning business and we have been able to create so many beautiful memories together for so many of our couples.
When she reached out to us asking to craft the flowers for her 10 year wedding anniversary, there was no way we were going to say no. It was an honor.
She wanted to design something around her original wedding colors of lavender, purple and ivory but the design was intended to be a bit more chic and elevated. A design that spoke to the growth she has experienced in her marriage. So, the mission was to design something that felt soft, yet had clean lines and a modern aesthetic. Sort of a grown and sexy vibe. That style of floral design spoke to our hearts because it's something we have been experimenting with and exploring more consistently over the past couple of years.
We commissioned some tinted orchids and lots of hydrangea to pull off this design. Taking into consideration The Chandelier Room at La Vie, you would understand why we needed this floral design style to feel modern, sophisticated and romantic. I like to think that this was a complete success, but I'll let you be the judge.
