Lead Floral Designer (Freelance Position)
We're looking to expand our team with an experienced Lead Floral Design Freelancer who can confidently execute wedding and event floral designs, lead on-site event teams, and represent the Flor de Casa Designs brand with professionalism and quality. The ideal candidate is an experienced floral designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is passionate about delivering exceptional work and client experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead event logistics on wedding days
Manage on-site freelance crew
Read floral recipes and production schedules
Execute floral designs to company standards
Problem solve on-site
Communicate with planners and venues
Ensure timelines stay on schedule
Direct breakdown
Gather and prep inventory and mechanics for day-of work
Guide assistants as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional wedding floral experience
Able to design independently
Experience leading teams
25 years or older
Valid driver's license
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Weekend availability required
PAY
Commission-based, providing a competitive pay structure
Mileage reimbursement
