SHANDA
ZELAYA
Owner / Lead Designer
Shanda began her journey with floral design in August of 2016 when she founded Flor de Casa Designs. Since then, she strives to work with clients to visualize and actualize their dream wedding designs. She says...
"I lead the work on my designs with the understanding that the value is always in the details. They matter most. And perhaps because I consider my craft to be an interactive fine art experience, it comes naturally for me to make arrangements that keep my clients’ unique tastes and preferences at the heart of every design."

She and her husband became first-time parents in 2022 and when not immersed in design, she enjoys time with family and friends and attempts to hop on a plane to anywhere in the world whenever she can (yes, now with baby in tow).

SABRINA

Sabrina the newest member of the Flor de Casa Designs team! She joined us in 2024, however, has been one of Flor de Casa's biggest supporters since its inception in 2016. She is the first point of contact for our clients and keeps busy behind the scenes ensuring our clients are well taken care of. When she's not hard at work, you can find her watching the latest Netflix series, lounging on the beach in Rio de Janeiro (where she currently lives... and we secretly hate her for it. LOL), traveling the world or serving her community.
KIMMI
Senior Designer

As lead designer, Kimmi has become an integral part of the team. She's been with Flor de Casa since 2019 and not only does she assist our lead designer, Shanda on executing our client's visions, she takes on her own events and delivers an impeccable wedding day experience to our couples. As much as she loves designing for weddings, she also has a passion for cooking, baking and rock climbing.
SUSAN
Junior Designer​

Susan is the newest member to join our team and has become an invaluable part of it. She assists with wedding prep, design and execution of our client's most special day. When she is not assisting Shanda or Kimmi, you can find her running point on some of our weddings. On her time away from the FdeC team, she loves spending time with her family and dabbling in interior design as a hobby.
